LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN COME

As we read the Gospel according to Luke we discover a story where some children were trying to make their way to Jesus and his disciples were preventing them from doing so. Jesus responds to them saying, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Luke 18:16)

It is in this spirit of invitation and welcome that we have built the “Let Them Come” playground.

No child should be hindered from experiencing play, joy, laughter and fun. We wanted to provide a playground for our community that would allow full access for all children to be able to play side by side. To this end we have chosen equipment, as well as flooring, that will be safe for all. 

And so, we extend the invitation to you—come! Come and play! Come and laugh! Come and grow! 

We are excited that Phase 1 of this playground is open and we look forward to developing Phase 2 in the near future.
