GIVE

We understand that all we have comes from God and that we are invited to give all we have back to God: our time, talents and treasures. We do so, not out of obligation, but rather with a sense of joy and thanksgiving for all that God has blessed us with. We also give with great excitement, and humble hearts, as we understand that God has invited us to be partners with God in all the good work that God is doing in the world today. We join our gifts together, and ask for God's blessing, that they will go forth into the world to serve as a blessing to others.

If you would like to join us in sharing the love of Jesus with our community and the world, we invite you to give as the Holy Spirit leads you. Thank you for joining us in the mission of Christ to bring healing and wholeness into the world.

Celebration is also able to accept payment with Zelle. If your bank offers Zelle in its online banking suite, you can set up a direct transfer from your account to Celebration. This method incurs no transaction fees and is a safe method to transfer money. To set up Celebration in Zelle, you will need to use cumcchurch.office@gmail.com. For more information contact Ellen (ellen.cumcchurch@gmail.com)
Online giving with Vanco supports credit card donations and bank transfers. Bank transfers result in lower processing fees than credit card donations. If you would like to make a bank transfer, look for the "bank account" option when choosing your payment method.
TIME AND TALENTS

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever!”

1 Peter 4:10-11New Living Translation (NLT)

Sometimes when we think about giving, our minds automatically go to how much money we can, should, or do, give.

While giving our treasures is an important spiritual discipline, and one that we each should be growing in, God has gifted each of us in many amazing ways to serve the Kingdom of God.

We believe that God has created you in a wonderful and unique way. We also believe that God has gifted you that way for a purpose that goes beyond yourself. 1 Corinthians 12:7 says, “A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.”

You are invited to discover what your spiritual gifts are and how you can use them to serve God and others by taking a spiritual gifts inventory. When you have completed the inventory, make sure to let Pastor Melissa know what your gifts are, and together you can pray for knowledge about how God may be asking you to use them!
