We Worship at 9:30 and 11:00 AM at our new church buildings on Archer Road in SW Gainesville, FL. The buildings are a half mile west of 91st Street and just west of the YMCA property. Use the YMCA entrance to enter the property.

This Week's Thoughts
Thoughts from Pastor Holloman
The book of Isaiah is a very interesting book of the Old Testament. I say that because it contains some of the most stunning portraits of the Messiah and it was quoted by Jesus many times. But the book is also interesting because it covers a large portion of the Jewish history. Isaiah covers both the fall of the northern Kingdom in 705 BC to the Assyrians and the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC to the Babylonians.

Church Directory Update Time
If your address or phone number has changed since we printed our church directory in 2011, please make sure to take a few minutes and send your updated information to the church office, office@celebrationgnv.org , or give us a call 367-8005. Or if you are new to Celebration, and want to be in the directory, please be sure to send in your contact information. We ca also schedule a time where we can get your picture taken. With many new families and friends joining celebration, we are looking to print an updated church directory sometime soon. Thank you!

Children’s Ministry
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS WANTED! Having dedicated and loving teachers is the most important factor in the success, growth, and development of a Sunday School class. Please support children’s ministries by becoming a Sunday School teacher for the Spring Term. Teacher sign-ups begin January 22nd – February 19th. Sign-Up Sheets are in the designated area.

Game Night

Missions
Special thanks and appreciation to Celebration UMC for their generosity toward the Wade McKenzie family. The McKenzie family is overwhelmed with the outpouring of love they have received. Wade is doing well and continuing burn treatments at Shands.
Team Celebration and Hope Lodge will host the first Relay for Life team meeting Sunday, February 12th, after the 11:00 a.m. service, with a yummy potluck. If you are interested in joining the team, or would like additional information, this is the place for you! Please sign up on the sheet and indicate what covered dish you would like to bring. Let's find a cure for all cancer!
The Homeless Veteran Committee is looking for a couch, bed, and/or mattress for a very ill veteran. If you have one these items, or know of someone that does, please contact Sue Davis. Thank you!
